I’m a Chinese American mother who battled with bacne from middle school all the way into adulthood, and later developed eczema that lingered for six difficult years. Despite trying countless body washes, creams, prescriptions, and doctor visits, nothing truly helped—until I shifted my focus from quick fixes to real nourishment, starting with what I was putting on my skin.

That journey opened my eyes. I began to understand how many hidden chemicals we’re exposed to daily, even in products marketed as “clean” or “natural.” When I became a mom, that concern turned into a calling. I wanted better for my daughter. But even the most trusted baby brands fell short of the safety and transparency I was looking for.
